Class Audio

I want to get that upper class American accent from the 1930’s, are there any older audio books available?
I’d like to listen to books rather than TV shows or movies because I find them to be rather boring. Except for I Love Lucy but I already watch that.
I currently have an East Coast US accent.
The first compact audio tape wasn’t developed until 1958 and there wasn’t a commercially viable cassette technology until the mid 60’s, even long–playing records didn’t gain popularity until 1948, so there was no such thing as a audiobook in the 1930’s. The closest thing to an audiobook that you would be able to find would be old radio plays from that time period.
Cheers.
