Within the framework of artistic activity, the simple awareness of technology is enough to generate an impulse in the artist’s mind to innovate. Given that the prevailing trend favours constant expansion, the most relevant case being our universe. The rate of expansion of ideas may possibly be correlated to the rate of technological development.
In most cases, the rate of conceptual innovation actually exceeds that of technological availability.
In a sense, this implies that evolution is related to, but not necessarily dependent on technology, as technology is in itself a direct product of the human mind.
Existing technologies are therefore the result of a systematic organisation of the methods used to represent abstract concepts in the material world. This systematic approach constantly feeds the creative imagination of people, and fortunately technology imposes some limits. Within these limitations, the incentive for an artistically inclined person is to find solutions to circumvent possible technological barriers.
